You Beautiful Bastard - New Music

I'm on the road. I'm on the road after making some major moves and changes. Perhaps I'll talk about them some day but in the meantime, I wanted to announce I have also started to make music again. I've spent time in La Paz and just generally traveling around Bolivia looking for people to record, listen to, appreciate, and even collaborate with. One of these latter encounters happened at a hostel recently in La Paz. Freddy is the vocalist of an excellent metal ensemble based out of Cuenca, Ecuador and we happened to stay at the same place at the same time and started chatting. He wanted to work so he listened to what I had done so far with this track and wrote a poem he based on his experiences and my own around Bolivia at this time of carnival. The song was nearly finished but needed something else, this is where the collaboration came into play.

The song itself is the result of walking around La Paz for a few weeks with a recorder and some microphones to capture sounds. Sounds that I then bastardized and processed through a few hardware units belonging to recently made DJ friends in the area as well as some Izotope products. It is an homage to Bolivia and La Paz, this is the beautiful bastard itself that I have come to love within a short period of time.

In addition to this Freddy made a video for it that we put out on YouTube. Please listen on Spotify or wherever you listen, it's live all over the place, and see the video on YouTube. The link is posted below. I hate saying it but you know the drill: like, share, subscribe, rinse, repeat.
